Training and professional association roles:

Extensive training and experience working with teens diagnosed with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse problems. Former lead therapist for co-occuring disorders at Tualatin Valley Centers Youth Addiction Program.

Completed long term training programs in:

• Functional Family Therapy (One year site certification training and supervision program.)
• Motivational Interviewing (One year extended studies training program with William Miller and associates through UNM/CASAA.)
• Experiential Therapy (Masters practicums with Onsite Workshops and Sierra Tucson, Inc. and training with Tian Dayton, Ph.D/TEP)
  
  Former member Association for Experiential Education (AEE) Board of Directors and chair of the Therapeutic Adventure Professional Group.
  
  Member of advisory board for 1st, 2nd and 3rd International Adventure Therapy Conferences.
